Marieke Drent came in contct with partner acrobatics 12 years ago and was immediately sold. Taught by Dutch acro teachers including Det Rijven, Jim Klinkhamer and Wybren Wouda. Marieke combines partner acrobatics with her passion of physical theatre. In 2009 she started performing in Circus Klomp and last year she started duo VanPlan with Winfried Deuling which focuses on absurd acro performances. www.circusklomp.nl www.facebook.com/vanplanacrobaten

Peter’s a star in inventing funny new tricks (and Marieke is his guinea pig). Strange twists, turns and variations, mostly L basing. Marieke likes handstands. Hand to hand, hand to feet, hand to elbows, hand to knees, hand to sheens, it doesn’t matter (she still stands). They challenge each other to remain in the trick, while cheating and making it difficult for each other, pushing the boundaries. We want to challenge each of you to push the boundaries; playing together, finding out new tricks and variations. But most of all, having fun!

Noël Spauwen From 1987 on he has been teaching acrobatics, for different levels and in various settings world wide. Noel a social-psychologist, who has "fathered" acro elements that have spread in the world started his acrobatic career in the ‘school’ of the “Como Brothers”, the founding fathers of Dutch acrobatics. He has performed in duos, trios and groups in the streets and on festivals in Europe. https://acronoel.wordpress.com/contribute/

Elizabeth Overton is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Her playful spirit and compassionate heart shine through in her acrobatics teaching and practice. Her background in competing and teaching gymnastics has given her a level of body awareness and technical teaching ability that few possess. Training with Liz is guaranteed to inspire and empower students of all skill levels and backgrounds. Liz graduated from Acro Revolution Teacher Training in 2014, studied the Dutch style of acrobatics at Pitch Catch Circus, and currently trains at the San Diego Circus Center with her partner, Matt Fields-Johnson, under their coach, Jean-Luc Martin. When she’s not on her hands at the Circus Center, she and Matt travel the country teaching and training. Most importantly though, she will treat you like family and make you laugh hysterically along the way.
Matt Fields-Johnson has always been a lover of adventure and movement who has fallen in love with partner acrobatics. As an infant he would vault out of the crib and onto the floor before he could walk. Now he travels the country teaching and training acrobatics with his partner, Elizabeth Overton. Matt brings an unassuming strength to his practice and teaching. His articulate, concise coaching holds space for students to grow, puts them at ease, and sets them up for success. Matt graduated the Acro Revolution Teacher Training in 2014, studied Dutch Acrobatics at Pitch Catch Circus, and is currently training at the San Diego Circus Center with Jean-Luc Martin. Matt loves to train, but more than anything he loves the friendships that are formed within the acrobatics community. Come train with Matt and see your practice excel and your community grow
